POTOMAC – Putting on a benefit concert singlehandedly isn’t easy, but for Cres O'Neal, a musician, radio host and humanitarian, the pros outweigh the cons. O’Neal, the host of Jazzin ‘Em Up, an online radio show on blogtalkradio.com focused on interviews and indie jazz artists, is planning the first annual WCJS Radio jazz benefit.

The concert will be held on Sept. 28, 2013 at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club and will feature 18 award-winning performers, including eight-time Grammy Award winner Arturo Sandoval, Grammy Award-winning pianist John Beasley – who will also serve as musical director – guitarist Drew Davidsen and vocalist Toni Reed.  Click here to read the full story.
