June 14 - Contemporary Jazz Group - Airborne Sounds of passion and emotion, a multi-cultural product of the bands hometown of New Haven, CT. Formed in 1988, these veterans of jazz have remained within the jazz social mainstream with total dedication to their music, skills, and goals. Airborne has been graciously proclaimed the “Musical Peacemakers” of Contemporary Jazz and have been awarded a Merit of Honor by the World Peace Organization for their excellence in World Music and as Humanitarians.
