May 27 - Flautist - Althea Rene Gaining her musical inspiration from the accomplishments of her father Dezie McCullers of the "Motown Review" and the "Original Funk Brothers", Althea Rene has definitely clipped her wings - becming one of the most articulate, expressive jazz flautists today. Her new CD, "In The Flow", is a fine compilation of colorful tones that melodically "flow" through the hearts and souls of its listening audience.
