April 5 - Dutch Singing Sensation - Bart Brandjes Bart Brandjes, a 50 year old carpenter from Amsterdam, captured the imagination of a nation on his way to becoming a finalist on The Voice of Holland. The coaches on the show were openly awe-struck by his incredible voice and charisma. Were it not for his more mature age, many insiders have reasoned that he would have been the victor and named the new “Voice of Holland.” Unknown to the American public, Brandjes is actually a well-experienced performer in Holland and was discovered internationally through the worldwide recording affiliations of double Grammy winner, Paul Brown, and subsequently introduced to Woodward Avenue Records.
