Saxophonist Jack Prybylski

November 5 - Saxophonist/Composer - Jack Prybylski   Prybylski’s music story starts in second grade in a Buffalo suburb when his parents, who didn’t particularly want loud drums in the house, urged him to try something else. Prybylski picked the sax because it had the letter “X” in it. Before beginning his solo career, Jack recorded seven albums with a local Buffalo institution, Them Jazzbeards.  He toured around the globe as a saxophonist for the band sharing the stage with a number of jazz artists like Richard Elliott, David Sanborn, The Rippingtons, and Sypro Gyra . He has also performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, even studied under the tutelage of former Buffalo Philharmonic bass clarinetist/saxophonist Edward Yadzinski and received top honors as a saxophonist from the Academy of Buffalo Music Awards.     In October of this year, Jack was inducted in to the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, and has been awarded the Buffalo Music Awards, Saxophonist of the Year Award, 12 times
